How to: Change the mouse pointer speed.
Solution:
To change the mouse speed or sensitivity, select 'Settings', 'Control Panel', and 'Mouse', and click the 'Motion' tab of the 'Mouse Properties' dialog box. Move the pointer speed slider bar.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Mouse' icon. (The 'Mouse Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Motion' tab.
5) Move the slider bar in the 'Pointer speed' section as follows:

a) To slow down the mouse (make it less sensitive), drag the slider bar to the left.
b) To speed up the mouse (make it more sensitive), drag the slider bar to the right.
6) Click 'Apply'.
7) Click 'OK'.
